Bus Times appear to be posted in the link below. Please keep in mind, at the school level we have no control over the bus routes or times. If you have any questions, we ask you reach out to the bus department.
Parents and Families: please be aware that there will be delays the first few weeks of school in the morning and afternoon. We recommend your student gets to their stop a little early, but remind them to be patient as the bus could be delayed. In our three years at ILIS we have learned that while frustrating for parents, this is commonplace the first few weeks of school. The same goes for the afternoon drop off. We do anticipate delays the first few weeks of school.
We know how hard the transportation department has been working to get these stops to you. With new student registrations every day, allowing the deadline to be changed to accommodate as many families as possible, and much more, the department has been working round the clock to get these schedules to you. We appreciate your patience and very much appreciate all their hard work.
We hope you enjoy your last day of summer break! We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow morning! Don’t forget- doors open at 7:25am, tardy bell rings at 8:20, car rider line begins at 3:15pm- and tell the kiddos to look out for staff in yellow shirts! We will get them to where they need to be!

BUS UPDATE:
ALL Bus Route information will be available by 2:00 p.m. via Parent Portal and the bus site URL. Bus assignments are complete, however, due to technical difficulties we are having a delay viewing the information.
We want to make sure our 5th Graders feel confident before they come into the building on Monday morning, so we filmed a video showing them the process. Please read the information in its entirety and then click on for routes. Please remember these are general descriptions and will vary upon unforeseen external factors.
Parents you will receive an email this evening with your child’s bus numbers. If your child is a car rider, you will see a “C” for both morning and afternoon transportation. You can also view your child’s bus numbers by logging into your parent portal account and selecting student reports.
The link below will give you estimated bus pick up times for each bus route. Select your child's school to view the current bus routes.
Please note: Bus routes may vary 15 minutes before or after the scheduled route time. Please have your child out at the bus stop early and expect delays coming home from school for the first few weeks while we work out any issues.

August 9, 2024 - Due to weather concerns and in order to provide time for schools to be ready for Monday, August 12, 2024, ALL student orientation for 6th and 9th graders and Indian Land 5th and 7th graders has been canceled.
Open houses and other orientations have been canceled, and you will receive information from your child's school regarding rescheduling.
Lancaster County School District will be OPEN for normal operating hours for staff.

Lancaster County School District has been in contact with Emergency Management. Lancaster County is currently under a flood watch. Due to potential flooding and hazardous conditions caused by Tropical Storm Debby, as a safety precaution, ALL Lancaster County schools, buildings, and facilities will be closed on Thursday August 8, 2024. ALL events and activities are cancelled.
ALL open houses and orientations scheduled for August 8, 2024 are canceled and will be rescheduled.
We are officially BACK, Warriors! Today was the day our staff came into the building to get ready for the year ahead! It started off with a delicious breakfast from Stacks provided by our PTO. While we were fueling up for the long day ahead, everyone also received a welcome back gift from PTO- our new staff shirts for the year! You’ll see those in our staff photos, coming soon! 😉 We are so thankful for all they did to set us up for success today! They even presented a raffle with great gifts like a $50 Target gift card and a year membership to Anne Springs. We feel so spoiled and can’t thank them enough. 💙
After our big staff meeting, Transformation Church arrived with a massive donation: each and every teacher and staff member received a box filled with everything they could dream of to start the year off right. A crowd favorite is the large pack of Flair pens, new scissors, a ream of paper and more. The whole tote down to the tote itself is awesome! They thought of everything when putting it together, and we can’t thank everyone at Transformation Church enough for their generosity! 💛
Tomorrow it’s back to work! We can’t wait to see you all at Open House on August 8th!

Nothing bonds people together quite like bowling. The vulnerability of the throw, the anticipation of the ball rolling down the lane, the anger one feels when time and time again just ONE pin is left standing…
But we digress.
After a hearty breakfast, informative meeting and grand tour of campus, Admin went bowling with some of our new hires today! It was great to get to know them, and they’re already feeling like family. Bonus points: everyone knocked down pins today, so we all felt like winners!
All teachers and staff return on Monday in preparation for the year ahead. We are so excited for our 4th year at ILIS, and look forward to the amazing year we will have together!

Our staff is working hard to get ready to welcome back our Warriors- updating information, getting rooms ready, preparing for Open House and more. It wasn’t just fun and games, as they also held a meeting to discuss goals and plans for the year ahead. We are thinking big and dreaming bigger than ever before, and can’t wait to see you all at Open House on 8/8!
