BUS REGISTRATION and Returning Student Registration for 2025-2026 - It's time to request bus transportation for the 2025-2026 school year and update your child's information. We currently have approximately 9,000 students who ride the bus on a daily basis. You must click the following Google link and respond immediately to reserve your child's spot on the bus for next year: https://forms.gle/wCJJo4xoj9asCWtj8 Parents can also log in to their PowerSchool Parent Portal Account - select "Forms" and complete forms under the "GENERAL" tab for 25-26 Returning Student Registration. This will allow you to update all of your students' information simultaneously. We appreciate your PROMPT attention to updating your child's information so that bus transportation will be secured for the first day of school. Bus registrations received after this date will go on a waiting list. Updating registration forms ensures your child's school has the correct contact and health information. Registration will close on June 30, 2025.

State Treasurer Curtis Loftis irecogized graduates of the South Carolina Financial Literacy Master Teacher Program, an innovative multi-year program designed to increase the number of teachers incorporating personal finance education in the classroom. Lancaster High School Social Studies teacher, Ed Humphrey was one of 14 educators honored at the 36th Annual Economics and Financial Literacy Awards Luncheon in West Columbia. The program includes specialized training, classroom resources, and financial stipends to promote financial literacy education in K-12 schools. “I am pleased to congratulate our fourth graduating class of Financial Literacy Master Teachers,” Treasurer Loftis said. “This unique program has helped inspire talented educators to strengthen their skills and confidence in promoting personal finance education through high-caliber professional development opportunities and free curriculum resources. Each year we hear wonderful stories of how they’ve taken this new knowledge to create meaningful lessons that encourage their students and fellow educators to make wise financial decisions. We are grateful that teachers continue to see the value of completing this training program so they may inspire others to improve their financial well-being.” Ed was also recognized as the program's Employee of the Month in April. Congratulations, Mr. Humphrey! *Mr. Humphrey is second from the right on the back row of the photo in a white shirt.
